The other day, a commenter tosssed an HR at somebody who spoke ill of a suicide. When I challenged them to cite the rule violation, I was told the following. Note that the author pre-emptively weasels out of explaining why the behavior in question is "dickish" by trollishly presuming some special awareness that one either gets or doesn't.
Bogus Rule:
Isn't being a dick enough? Who calls a suicide a POS PIG? What decent person does that? If you don't get that, I can't help you. So, if this is real, if one cannot say bad things about suicides, then it is a per se rule applying to all suicides and hence everybody on the following list. Does it, or is the comment above, itself, and the HR it defends, what is really dickish?
