Long before the 9/11 WTC attack provided Bushco with an enhanced opportunity to start implementing the PNAC agenda in the middle east, Chalabi had already managed to get the U.S. to commit to our favorite pastime, regime change, in Iraq. Though the U.S. has been engaged in regime change under various names, this is the most dispassionate official public declaration that somebody was on our hit list that I recall offhand.
