World Beyond War will hold an event in D.C., in late September There will be a conference from noon to 8:00 p.m. on September 23, and 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on September 24, with speakers and activist workshops from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the 25th. The National Campaign for Nonviolent Resistance (NCNR) is planning a nonviolent activism training and planning session on the 25th and a nonviolent action in D.C. on the morning of the 26th.
The goal is for people to learn about and engage in working on viable alternatives to war and militarism.
