On this day in 44 BCE, Julius Caesar was assassinated in the Curia of Pompey in Rome. The exact site of his assassination lies within the square in central Rome known as the Largo di Torre Argentina. We went there specifically to see the Gatti, not being aware at the time that it was exactamente where he bought it.
