Pi Day is upon us, and with it, dissent.

Some would eschew Pi Day in favor of 6/28. Why so? Because 2 pi. Also because Tau. We'll get there, but I'm staying out of it. Here's some introductory mundane facts, though number 5 isn't completely boring and is also foreshadowing.

If you go to You Tube and enter "pi day" into the search bar, you'll retrieve a lot of videos, and most ae neither that informative nor that interesting, or else they are exceedingly long, or silly, like the following:

There are also a lot of renditions of the pi song aka pi day song, which you can seek out and listen to or not as you see fit. I, however, will jump straight down to the controversy, as it were.

It's all about Tau (not Tao, but pronounced similarly). But, we lack an apple tau, key lime tau, or American Tau, so we'll end with pi after all:
